Following the death of Caesar, we see Rome in the need of a new leader. There are three candidates willing to take the place of Caesar as the ruler of Rome. All three candidates seem to have what it takes to be a leader, however Antony seems to be the top candidate here. He has many good qualities that would justify his case. He is very close to Caesar, as in that he knows him well and knows what Caesar would do. He is his right hand man. Therefore, he would think like Caesar. He would know how to run Rome better and how to rule for the good of the people. He shows to actually care about the people. Therefore, he makes a good candidate fit to rule Rome.
Following Antony, Cassius would be the next best candidate. He is shown to be a good persuader. He is able to manipulate people with words, into doing his bidding. This could be helpful for him, as he could get the people of Rome into following his rule. However, he is a greedy person, and at sometimes, his greed can go up to his head. Therefore, his downfall could be when he makes the wrong call. His manipulation is shown when he persuades Brutus into taking part in the murder of Caesar.
Then, we have our last candidate, Brutus. He could potentially end up being an O.K. leader, but has some flaws that say otherwise. He is gullible, being manipulated easily. He could be lied to and not even know it. These candidates all have something to offer Rome, however when it comes to the top person, Antony takes the cake, as he shows more pros than cons.
