Opinion Editorial - Daniel
With the death of Caesar, there is a spot to be filled in as to who will take his throne. There are three possible candidates for the job, however one seems to stand out the most. This is of course, Antony. Having many leadership qualities, Antony is the most admirable of the three. One of his many qualities include loyalty. Having been Caesar's right hand man, Antony understands the leadership position better than anyone. He knows how Caesar ran Rome and can use that to help perfect his mistakes. Of the three possible candidates, he was the only one who didn't participate in Caesar's assassination. Antony was very loyal to Caesar and did everything he could to satisfy him. Antony is also very intelligent. He is a great speaker and understand politics well. He also cares about the people, unlike the other candidates. He is ethical and makes decisions for himself. He is the most admirable and fit for the job.
Cassius seems to be the runner up for the throne. He understands politics very well and is intelligent. However, he is a very selfish person. He is power hungry and does not care about the people at all. He is motivated by jealousy and personal gain. He is manipulative and not fit for the job as Antony is. Of the three candidates, Brutus is the least admirable. He is influenced easily by people and cannot make decisions on his own. Due to this, Cassius is able to manipulate him quite easily. He cannot even take charge in his own home, as Portia seems to be wearing the pants in the relationship. A man who cannot take charge in his own home should not be in charge of a large Roman society. Therefore, there is no other person better fit for the job but Antony.
-Daniel, world's funniest man.
